I haven't gotten any writing done since we moved in late June. Partly because unpacking and settling in the new house has been keeping me busy. Then there has been the elation/stress of my first release. That has been a bumpy ride. I feel like a puppy begging for petting the way I hope to see positive feedback. I truly appreciate the positive things I have read and even the not so positive.
But another reason is I'm trying to figure out how to finish up Jared and Colins book. I'm kinda stuck at the moment. I'm trying to decide which way to go.
Since I have decided to make this the first of a trilogy I've changed the title to Jared's Salvation to fit with the following books better. I'm going to have to do some tweaking and a total redo of the first chapter. So maybe diving into that will help feel the rest of it out. It was going to be a stand alone but when I was trying to plot out the end a minor character just jumped out at me. He had a title and a storyline that has me itching to write. The third book will be closely tied to his.
I also have a shifter book titled Rise that I have started on. I am hoping to make that the first of series and they will probably have a darker tone. There is another book that I have in mind that is a stand alone for now...Ari's Wolf...This one has been in my head for a long, long time so part of me wants to sit down and write it first.
Honestly, I feel like my muse keeps going "SQUIRREL!." I have at least 3 more books in my head and I'm planning on writing them all. Not to mention some submission calls that look intriguing.
While I plan on writing pretty much everyday it will only be for a couple hours. My 18yo daughter leaves for college in August and we plan on spending some time together. She wants me to teach her to cook her favorite things and help her find some new recipes for her and her roommates. So I plan on enjoying the time I have left with her. I will throw myself into writing full-time when school starts back up for my younger two.
I'm starting out as a writer of M/M & a few M/M/F romances and who knows what else. I have deep appreciation of humor, sci fi, paranormal & all around weirdness...But most of all I love HEA's
